Has anyone stayed at an Intercity Hotel in Germany? Prices seem decent and close to attractions and train station in Mannheim. I see there are Intercity Hotels in other German cities also.

In Frankfurt we stayed at Fleming's Express, which used to be an Intercity. Across the street from Hbf. Good hotel at reasonable price.

Hi,
I have stayed in several InterCity hotels, especially when a promo price is offered in the summer. Numerous German cities are part of this chain. it seems each year another city or two is added to this chain. I have not stayed at the Mannheim hotel.
The interCity Hotel on Poststrasse in Frankfurt is gone.

I've stayed at the InterCity Hotel in Hannover a number of times, and have always been pleased with the price/value, and I really like the location for proximity to train station, and general walking around, eating, shopping, etc.
A city pass is usually included for transportation.

Thank you for your replies. I'm seriously thinking of booking at one and trying them out. I too thought it was nice to have the city pass.
