We spent 3 nights at Hotel Metropol in July. We had 2 business rooms on the 4th floor, with balconies overlooking the courtyard parking. Rooms were big, had a minibar, great showers, ac worked beautifully, even a couple English tv channels. They provide tablets in the room also. Breakfast buffet is about 13€ (if booked separately) and is fabulous! The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the train station on a quiet street. They have parking for 15€/nt. The staff was very friendly and recommended restaurants within a couple blocks and also near Marienplatz (20 min walk). We had food delivered one night when we were just too comfy to leave, there are lots of choices nearby. This place was a splurge for us at about 200€ per room/nt. It was the last stop of our trip and I’m glad we splurged! Originally I had booked a place outside the city center, with no breakfast and spotty ac. This was a welcome retreat at the end of the trip! Highly recommend it.

I'll second your rave review--I stayed there for 6 nights in late May and absolutely loved everything about it--especially the wonderful variety at breakfast, even a honeycomb, of all things. I had a deluxe room that was enormous and very attractively furnished, approx. $125.00 including breakfast.

We stayed there last September. Very pleased. We were there for the opening of Octoberfest. Brewer's Parade goes by on the corner and it is a short walk to the grounds. Easy walk to all sights. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff helpful. Great choice!
