If you are in the Southwest part of Berlin, I can recommend Meyerbeer-Coffee at Prager Pl. 3, 10779 Berlin, Germany. This January I stopped by this friendly little coffee house and loved it so much I treated myself there every day of my stay in Berlin. A warm welcome, delicious coffee varieties, and freshly-baked croissants every morning made it a happy start to my morning. There’s comfortable, cozy seating inside as well as breezy seating outside to enjoy warm weather. They also offer fresh sandwiches and cakes, fine chocolates, and fancy alcohol-infused coffee drinks. You can pick up a bag of specialty coffee and coffee-makers to take home. They speak fluent English, of course German (and Dutch!) and take credit cards or Euros. So easy to become a regular at Meyerbeer Coffee shop—just try it and you will too!
Thanks for this recommendation...a good tip as it is very doable from where my Pension near Kantstrasse. This coffeehouse is located one district over, ie in Wilmersdorf . I'll be sure to have Euro on me for this coffeehouse when I am back in Berlin this summer.
Or use your US credit card like I did! Thanks for your comment!
