Gastehaus Schoeberl is a 'must stay' when visiting Bavaria

We recently stayed at Gastehaus Schoeberl in Fussen, Germany. It was one of the nicest guesthouses we have ever visited.

Pia Schoeberl keeps a beautifully clean, charmingly decorated, warm and welcoming guesthouse. AND she serves a wonderful breakfast every morning that will surely suit any taste. We loved the location on a quiet street. There is a good bicycle rental across the street, the information center is just a block away and a wide variety of hikes and bicycle routes are close by. This was such a relaxing and comfortable stay - and VERY reasonably priced for our spacious room (separate bedroom with large comfy bed, sitting room with couch and TV, small deck with table and chairs, and a very modern bathroom) and sumptuous breakfast.

We highly recommend Gasehaus Schoeberl if you are visiting Bavaria!

I have to admit it, I'm a cynic (surprise). So when the OP, with no previous posts, who has never before interacted on this forum, makes their first post, out of the blue, a glowing recommendation, my antenna go up in suspicion However, after reviewing the website, I have to admit that if I were looking for a place in Füssen, I would give this place serious consideration.

As for parking space, I don't see much parking behind the haus, but there is some on the street and in the neighborhood. More importantly, for those of us who eschew cars for public transportation, it is a mere 4 minute walk from the train/bus station.

I like it.

Would probably be more useful if the heading referred to Füssen rather than Bavaria -- it's like calling someplace a must-stay in California. Big area.
