Füssen's Hotel Fantasia

Another review for you! We stayed at Füssen's Hotel Fantasia for one night in June 2015. Due to our short stay and many of Rick's recommendations requiring longer stays or being outside our budget, we selected this hotel. We had a nice view of the foothills of the alps from the hotel, were greeted by the kind proprietor who graciously loaned us a free bus pass (which also gave a discount to the castles) and helped us to our room (3-floor walk-up, no elevator noted). The walls were quite thin and we had a brief incident with a baby crying in the night, but nothing out of the ordinary with a small hotel. The outside of the hotel was undergoing restoration while we were there, but it is a beautiful, converted nun's residence. Wonderful location (very close to the train "station" and buses), kind staff, expanded breakfast buffet, and fun, purple, fluffy decor. Rooms are nicely equipped with great showers and plenty of blankets. All around, a nice stay!
