Hi,
We are planning our trip for next December and are staying at Fussen, anyone have ideas on what restaurants are very good and open Christmas eve, Christmas Day? Want to book as soon as we can, thanks in advance.

Hey Steve,
We like the Gasthof Krone a lot. Even if you're not a big wine drinker, I normally never drink wine at all, the Mead or Honig wine is wonderful. Fun and festive atmosphere. Give it a try.

thanks Paul, we don't drink but I think on this occasion we may indulge in one or two. Have looked at the previous post and it shows the top 20 restaurants they all look amazing, really want to taste traditional Germany Christmas food.

I don't drink either, but my wife likes a glass of wine now and then, so she had a Mead, loved it and I gave it a try. Very good. Honey wine. Funny, if my wife wants a beer with dinner and I get my usual water of Coke, I order for both of us, as I speak German The waiter/waitress always puts to beer in front of me and the water or soda in front of her. Then we switch.
