Frankfurt, recommended hotels

Looking for a good but moderately priced hotel in Frankfurt 2-3 nights. Any recommendations?

what does moderately priced mean to you, in Euro? How many people? Large hotel or small? Does it need to be near any transportation or does it need a garage? What time of year? Have you looked at booking or elsewhere yet?

To be more precise, there will be 2 of us, looking for areas like Sachsenhausen (I think) we like a safe but fairly vibrant nightlife, close to transportation, seeking in the price range of 100-150 euro p night (hopefully)

Also is there uber there?

We stayed in Hotel Rossija in 2017. Inexpensive, good breakfast. Downside: On Moselstrasse, which is the "red-light" district. Lots of bars there with "top girls" and "beautiful naked girls". Going to the hotel after dark was somewhat of an adventure - had to dodge the drunks/stoned/overdosed on the sidewalk. Interesting nonetheless. Not sure I would recommend this for a single woman.

Hotel seemed to be Russian-owned (Rossija in Russian is "red"). The cleaning people all spoke Russian.

I stay mostly at Marriott properties and my two go-to hotels in Frankfurt are The Pure and the Moxy Frankfurt Airport. Both are usually in your price range. There are large conventions in Frankfurt that will drive up the price of all hotels when in session.

The Pure is just a block from the HBF, so it is convenient for public transportation and for arriving via train or air (but not by car). It is also accessed via the station's north entrance, so you avoid the crowd and squalor of the main entrance.

The Moxy is located in Gateway Gardens, a business park near Terminal 2. It has an S-Bahn stop and the hotel is a short walk from there. Multiple restaurants and a REWE grocery are close. I find it very convenient for an overnight stay when traveling out of Frankfurt to the US.

Last week I stayed at the Adina Hotel Neue Oper.

You shouldn't make the same mistake I did.

Yes, there is Uber.
