Circus Hotel in Berlin is on a busy, noisy street, and we weren't able to get a room away from the street, so our experience wasn't great. Apart from the noise, though, it's good -- clean, well located, with helpful staff and a bar downstairs, choice of plated breakfast there or less expensive (E5 and entirely adequate) buffet across the street at the hostel run by the same organization. Two self service laundries just up the street were a plus, but a huge benefit was a new and absolutely wonderful restaurant, Peter Paul, also up the street. Peter Paul (named for the owner's two grandfathers) features traditional German dishes, updated and served as small plates. The ambiance, service, and food all suggest much higher prices than we found, and we enjoyed it so much, we went back another night!
