That could be a good idea to look through some WIkipedia pages - firstly Potsdam, Oranienburg and Bernau bei Berlin for about half an hour from the center of Berlin and then Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Leipzig, Greifswald, Stralsund and Szczecin (now in Poland, former Stettin) - all of them about 1-2 hours from Berlin by car or train.

@ Michal....good suggestions. I agree with choosing Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Greifswald, Stralsund....all very historical and having the historical museums. Obviously, Leipzig and Potsdam too.

They only have 2 days in Berlin! Why are you suggesting all these other places to visit? They want suggestions for a guide in Berlin, or perhaps sightseeing attractions for Berlin. Not anyplace else in Germany.
