Hello fellow travellers!
I booked the Adina Hackescher Markt for a one-week stay and the price seems decent at 160 Euros a night, not the cheapest (especially when converted to Canadian dollars!!!). But I just saw a better price at the Berlin Adagio Kurfürstendamm. Has anyone ever tried it? Thank you so much in advance!
Sorry I can't help with the Adagio question, but just wanted to make sure that you joined Adina's eClub? It's free and you get discounted rates.
Yes, Dawn, I did! Thank you so much for your kind reply! The Adina has lots of great comments on this forum, which is why I booked it in the first place! I think I'm having pre-travel angst :-)
We stayed at Adina for a week last Sept and loved the neighborhood. Very convenient to the S-bahn (S-#9 to the airport), metro, grocery, bakery, restaurants. Walked everywhere. We had a 1 bedroom apt with washer dryer. Their cappuccino downstairs was very good too and cheap at €2.50.
I much prefer the Hackescher Markt location to Ku-damm. I’ve stayed in both areas, like Adina very much but haven’t tried Adagio (I think they’re similar)
The Ku-damm area was the centre of West Berlin but it feels a little bit west of the action now for me. I wouldn’t stay there again. I really loved staying at Hackescher Markt and would stay there again.
