no, not at all for someone that has never been to Europe; just get a proven source a Rick Steves guide book on Germany; and based on what strikes your personal interests in the guide book (it is best to read to find that out for yourself) decide where you want to go. Most libraries have them free to check out if you can't afford to buy one.

AI traveler planner for an inexperienced traveler is out of wack in my opinion just like unsolicited online shopping recommendations.

Hey, thanks for your response... yes, I am travelling for the first time and want to explore my interests within my budget and also want to have a personalized experience. Over the internet I had read regarding AI travel help in all these factors, there are a few of them like Trip Advisor, Travlo, TripIt that have helped the travelers. so wanted to clear the thing with the real travelers who have used it and to confirm if I can use it as a first time abroad traveler.

We used Wanderlog, a free trip planning app to plan and organize our last trip. Our whole Stanley found it to be very helpful. Check it out.

You asked under “General Europe” so I will answer in General.

AI Travel Planners havent shown themselves to be of much value. The few results I have seen have been pretty much predictable garbage.

But a living breathing Travel Planner, yes. So since you are showing some interest in assistance I will tell you my thoughts on "Real" Travel Planners. We all think we can read a book and know as much as someone who does it for a living, but that’s not true. If dealing with a good travel planner, the only real question is “will the $250 investment make my trip $250 better?” I think probably.

For a simple city visit, the value is most likely less and if you hire a guide for even a half day you probably don’t need much more than that to really get a lot out of the visit.

For a trip to Rome or Florence maybe not. That region is so over touristed that the entire infrastructure is geared to holding tourists by the hand.

There is another post where the OP arrives in Frankfurt on the 21st and wants to leave on the 24th, leaving 2 days free. Perfect for a travel planner or a guide as the experience the travel planner or a guide has will make the 2 days the best they can be.

Going to Bulgaria or Montenegro or Bosnia? Definitely, just for the experience with transportation. These are the backdoors of Europe and they aren’t Disney Mainstreet like so much of Europe is these days.

Just in general? You asked the question so you might have some concerns. So invest $250 or even $500 in a planner and maybe your $10.000 trip will be more memorable or less stressful or …..

If I were going to Germany, I would contact Ms. Jo and ask if she knew someone who could help with Germany.

welcome to the Forums, sunita.

is this travel plan so that you can get your Visa?

Or to make your travel more organised?

There is lots of help available here, and in travel books.

AI, unless you know just how to frame your questions can very unreliable.

How long do you have in Germany, in nights?

Where will you arrive, where will you fly home from?
