Have you looked at Booking.com? You can enter your price range in the options to the left side of the page. I always use it to get an idea of what's out there. Reviews are only from people who have stayed in a place. I've also always been happy with their service, quick responses and reliability. You can also try booking directly with the hotel if you see something on the site that might work for you.
Without your price range and dates it is hard to be of help.

I don’t know what your budget is, but try this place Hotel du Lion 1 Av. du Général Leclerc, Paris. I stayed a couple nights in October, and it is a good clean place, right beside a metro station, and the staff were great.

Hostels are great. They often have private rooms. They are inexpensive. Even the bunkhouse rooms are OK - we stayed in one in Brasov Romania at 63,66. Fun with younger travelers.

My only concern about youth hostel is that you have to be out of the place around 10 o’clock in the morning and you can’t go back till a certain time in the afternoon. I think 2 o’clock?
My experience was 45 years ago, so I don’t know if the policy has been updated
