My wife and I are visiting Paris in late November for our anniversary. When should we expect to see Christmas decorations up? We are staying 11/18-11/27. Thanks!

The decorations go up in late November so you should probably be able to see the decorated store windows of Printemps and Galleries Lafayette, the grande roue at Concord should be up and running and the Christmas market on the Champs Elysees is up and running in late November.

Some of the department stores will have their decorations up the first week of November, others in mid-November, and the surrounding streets will be decorated as well.
The Christmas markets open on the Champs-Elysees in mid-November, this year.

I was in Paris the last week of October 2015 and Le Printemps was putting in some of their Xmas decorations then

I remember clearly that the Christmas Market on the Champs Elysees opened on November 13th last year. I was there just before the terrorist attacks happened.

Seeing the Xmas decor is important to me also! The stores were decorated by mid-November when I was there in 2014 and the Xmas market along the Champs Elysee also went up around that time. For more exact dates, just search 2016 Paris Christmas Markets and you should get more info (make sure it's for 2016). I'll be back again this year and look forward to the festivities.
