Would you recommend the River Cruise on smaller boat on the Seine River?

I just got a very good offer to cruise the river in Siene river cruise. Paris at $3,000 less than the Travel Agent quote, including air fare total trip is $7000 with insurance and extra days in Paris. 14 days how does this sound to you? Do you think this would be a better trip then just stay in one place in Paris. Cruising the river on a smaller ship might be very enjoyable. What do you think? Have you ever taken any cruises on the river with the smaller boats? Please let me know. May traveling. Thank you for your response.
