Hello all,
We are late in booking an upcoming trip including 4 nights in Paris at the end of September (25th-4nt). I've come to learn we will hit part of fashion week. I would greatly appreciate feedback on these hotels as this is what I am finding in our desired areas and price range of approximately $400 NT.
Hotel Relais Bosquet
Hotel Left Bank St Germaine
Hotel Residence Henry IV - Pushing the budget but doable ($479)

All are fine choices. Book the location that suits you.
Assuming this is your first visit to Paris, I would choose the Hotel Left Bank St. Germain. You will be less than a 10-20 minute walk to Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens and more.

Jean, I am leaning toward the Hotel Left Bank St Gerrmaine for that reason. Have you ever stayed there?

Hi, I stayed at the Hotel Left Bank in April 2025 with two of my grandchildren, and really loved it. Here is my review from my trip report from back then:
HOTEL LEFT BANK, ST. GERMAIN: Hotel Left Bank is in a very old building in St. Germain, which is a really lovely area in the 6th Arrondissement. The streets were lined with trees and flowers, and people were sitting in cafes, walking around and riding bikes. It was a very colorful scene. The hotel was very nice with a vintage vibe to it. Once we checked in, we took the lift to the 3rd floor to check out our room. It was large, very clean, with two single beds placed side by side, and another single in a more secluded area of the room. This was nice as it gave my grandson a bit of privacy. And it had A/C. The weather was as nice in Paris as it had been in London, but it did get a bit warm in the room, so it was great having that A/C option.
The breakfast was an additional cost, but when I booked the hotel, they were offering it for €5 pp, so we got breakfast both mornings, and it was quite good. There were not only breads and pastries, but creamy scrambled eggs, crisp sausage links, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and tomatoes and cucumbers.
The location was outstanding. I loved this area, and it was so convenient to sights, cafes, boulangeries, pastry shops and much more.

We have stayed at both of the other hotels. We stayed twice at Hotel Residence Henri IV, five nights each time. 2018 and 2025. It is a lovely small hotel with only about a dozen rooms. Our room both times was a two room suite furnished with antiques. The bed was king size and very comfortable, the bathroom was very modern, and the room had a small balcony. The hotel has a tiny elevator - we often choose to take the stairs. The hotel is about six blocks from Notre Dame and located on a dead end so it is very quiet. We thought the location was very convenient. The men working the front desk are very helpful and speak excellent English.
We have also stayed at the Hotel Relais Bosquet twice, two nights each time. It is a larger hotel. The location is good if you want to walk over to the ET at night to enjoy the sparkles, but it is farther from the other tourist sites. It has some rooms with views of the ET. It is also a lovely hotel, but the location is less convenient if you want to walk everywhere.
