Hi - We are looking for a wine tour company in Burgandy/Rhone/Provance areas that will take us to great smaller/family wineries with high quality wine just like we do when we go out to Napa/Sonoma. Don't want to hit the places where a tour bus pulls up. Want to stay away from Viator companies as we haven't had good luck abroad with these vendors.
We will be a party of 4 and would prefer private/ small group tour in each place (no more than 8 people).
Any suggestions?

In summer 2022 we had two wonderful days on private tour in Chateau Neuf du Pape area with Olivier Hickman. We found him from RS Provence guidebook I believe. Two different weeks. Two different groups. One group was 7 people. One group was 8 people. He was great at customizing the day and orienting his choices of wineries and discussion based on the group's experience and interest which except for me and my husband were quite different between the two groups.
