Wine Tours in Bordeaux

Have never been steered wrong by Rick, but I don't see that he has much info on the Bordeaux region. Anyone gone on any wine tasting tours in the region you would recommend?

We went on a bilingual half-day tour to Graves and Sauternes offered by the Office of Tourism and were pleased. They also have full-day tours. Each day they go to different regions. In fact, we took two other walking tours offered by the Office of Tourism and a boat ride.

We just returned from Bordeaux. We took a guided bike tour of the city that we really enjoyed. Saint-Emilion is about 30 minutes away by train and is a nice village literally in the middle of the vineyards. There are places all around to sample that you can literally walk to. You can learn more from the TI office. We didn't have much time so that is all we did but it was a very interesting wine area! I can give you the name of the bike company if you like.

We loved staying in Saint Emilion. Delightful village with great restaurants and exceptional wine. There are lots of vintners and wine shops in town that will happily let you taste their wine or you can easily visit some of the nearby wineries.
