My husband and I are traveling to Provence for 6 days June 2020 and plan to do a guided wine tour. We like wine, but are not aficionados. Do you think a half day tour is satisfactory, or is a full day tour worth it? Thanks!
If wine isn't your passion, you certainly don't need to push it. Aside from some of the wines along the lower Rhone, Provence is not known for fine wines. An hour at a tasting room would be more than enough to try some beaume de venise if in the interior, or Chateauneuf du pape if in that area. Even an hour is enough to taste the Bandols or Cassis wines along the coast. This isn't Burgundy or Bordeaux.
