We are staying in the Cannes area and. be will be traveling to Bordeaux. We are wondering if there is a wine tasting area where there would be somewhere nice to stay for one night somewhere along the way maybe at a vineyard. We have heard of Languedoc.

You might want to consider Roquebrun, a lovely village near St. Chinian, which gives its name to the wine appellation of the same name. There are several excellent wineries right in Roquebrun, and dozens more nearby.
