Wine and War Trip...

A bit ambitious, to say the least, but this is a rough draft for now...this is for spring of 2025. My real concern are the wine regions and which wineries to visit in each. Is there an online resource that gives recommendations or provides summaries on the different wineries?

Fly into Brussels then visit Belgium France, Spain, and Portugal.

Dunkirk
Waterloo
Sanctuary Wood (WWI Trench Warfare)
Battle of the Bulge
Champagne
Burgundy
Versailles
Normandy
Bordeaux
Loire
Bordeaux
Barcelona
Madrid
Seville
Jerez
Rioja
Douro
Porto

For the "spring of 2025?" This looks like more than one season worth of travel.

So, the entire "spring" - like starting on March 21 and running through June 20?

This is a LOT to bite off in one trip. It's actually similar to what i attempted during my first trip to Europe - but I tried to do it in about 3 weeks, which was completely insane.

So exactly how long is your proposed trip?

There is no way to assist you without knowing how long your trip is. Please provide more information.

In this mix of places picked from I don't know where, I don't see the most important wine region in France: Languedoc-Rousillon.

Alsace is also missing

Thanks to all for replying...as I started off my post with "A bit ambitious"...My humor is a tad dry, so I should have said upfront it is UNREALISTIC. I have been looking at websites for each area to narrow it down, but they are all over the place. So I should have said that I was looking for recommendations for a website that would provide a concise summary of which wineries to visit. I've looked at websites, and there are a LOT so which to choose? When we went to Croatia, there were 5 or 6, and we met the winemakers at 2 of the 3 we visited. That was a bit easier. I grew up in Napa, and worked as a tour guide before I started my teaching career, so like all of you, I know a little bit about wine. JoLui, so your comment is interesting since you're recommending a wine area I've never heard of. In fact, when I googled it, it said

What is Languedoc Roussillon famous for?
Caving & Camping
Beautiful French-Roman villages
The Pyrenees
Epic driving roads & tunnels
And, of course, great wine. For wine enthusiasts on a budget, Languedoc-Roussillon is becoming known as a great value wine region.
