Will my landlord charge me extra if i bought in 2 fans?

My teenager daughter has ezcema and just flare up seriouly on her neck and face this month . Doctor's advice is to keep her cool. However I rent an appartment with no air conditioning or cross ventilation. Does anyone know how much does a fan that oscilate cost in Paris. Will the landlord charge me for the extra for the use of the electricity?
I will really appreciate your input. Thank you!

For a definitive answer to your question, I would suggest you call or email your landlord. As far as cost, I think a fan would cost about the same as in the US - not sure where you are located.

It would help to have some idea where you're located. As someone mentioned in your other Thread, if you live in North America your Fans will likely only be designed for operation on 115 VAC. If you use them in Europe, they will self-destruct almost immediately, possibly with a spectacular display of sparks and smoke. In addition you'll have to pack Plug Adaptors in order to connect to the outlets in Europe.

For future reference, when travelling in August it would be a really good idea to get a place with air conditioning! You may find that an oscillating fan only circulates the hot air, so won't really provide much cooling.

Good luck!

No air-conditioning in Paris in august, that is not a risk I would have taken to begin with! You will have to contact your landlord, there are many who would supply a fan themselves.
As for charge for electricity, are they xharfinf you for usuage? Which agency did you rent through?

No one can five you a definate answer except your landlord.

It is hot and humid( to me) right now in Paris, but it is supposed to xoo down on weekend, weather here is very changeable so you may be lucky when you visit. I have been in August when it was cooler and rainy, but usually it is warm.
