Traveling to Paris in June. Just went online to get Eiffel Tower tickets, and they only have 11:00 pm time slots left for the 4 days we are there. I'd prefer not to go that late. I know you can stand in line and buy tickets. What is the probability of me getting them in person? Is that an issue? Should I not risk it and buy the 11:00 pm tickets OR risk it and stand in line to buy a ticket and hope they don't sell out? Advice needed. Thank you!
Eiffel Tower tickets are issued in waves, from 60 days before a visit, until 7 days before any visit. If your trip is more than a week away, keep trying.
as suggested, keep trying but in June you could find yourself out of luck trying for in person tickets in peak season. A recent visitor posted that if it is raining many people don't show, so maybe hope for rain :) (see the last post on this thread https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/france/eiffel-tower-question-8b6f0cba-36b8-4395-9482-28f3d4e0ba26)
The last time I went was eight years ago in September. It was raining most of the morning. So I watched the weather radar and timed my arrival to right when i thought the rain would end (it did). I walked right up and got a ticket to the top. This June I have a reservation for Madame Brasserie for a late lunch. It includes a ticket to the first level, and I plan to walk to the second level after lunch. YMMV.
