Hello. My husband and I will be in Paris on May 19th, Whit Sunday, and May 20th, Whit Monday. What can we expect as far as business closures and anything else that we might need to know?

Nothing different for most businesses People will be taking three-day weekends. The traffic jam back to Paris will be on Monday evening instead of Sunday evening.

It'll be like two Sundays in a row, except for businesses that shut on a Monday. As a tourist you will notice very little change except the public transport on the Monday will be slightly reduced from a normal Monday
