We will be in Paris June 23-27, 4 nights, Friday-Tuesday. On our list to see is Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Sainte-Chapelle and Disneyland Paris. We arrive in Paris on June 23 at 1pm. From the guidebook I see Louvre is closed Tuesday and Versailles Monday. I was thinking Disneyland should be Monday because we are well aware of Disney crowds from CA and FL and know the weekend is always busier. Is Disneyland Paris more busy on the weekend then say the Louvre? When we depart Paris Tuesday we are headed to Bayeux area, would spending another half day in Paris help with the schedule? TIA
Hi Jas, all the sites you listed will probably be crowded at the end of June. Suggest that you get a Paris Museum Pass to help with some of the ticket lines. You still need to go through Security. Check the official website to see what's covered (all the places you mentioned except Eiffel Tower and Disneyland). You can buy the pass in Paris at one of the smaller museums like the Rodin or Cluny.
The line at Notre Dame looks long but moves quickly. The cathedral is no problem, but if you're planning to do the steps, plan to arrive before it opens. We spent about an hour in line but it was worth it.
The main sites at the Louvre are crowded but it's a big place so once you get past them, you'll be fine.
The line at Sainte Chapelle is long due to Security. Get there early.
You can purchase online tickets to the Eiffel Tower 90 days in advance (at 8:30 a.m. Paris time). They go very quickly. Check out the official website. Or, consider a "behind the scenes" tour. We used Get Your Guide twice and it was very informative. You get a hour tour and a ticket to the second level. There's a short line to purchase another ticket to take you to the Summit.
Regarding your itinerary, I think Monday is a good bet for Disney. Hope you have a great trip!
