Doing some itinerary planning on a France and Italy trip. The France portion is going to be Paris-Beaune-Arles, looking to fly into Venice from either Nice or, Marseille. Seen some other threads and was looking to get an up-to-date insight.
Of the two major airports Nice and Marseille, which would be advised? I have no problem tacking on a day if Nice is a better option, just looking into some opinions on the conditions between the two airports, flight frequently and their convenance for train travelers.

Nice airport is not particularly difficult but I'd say that Marseille airport is particularly easy to reach and navigate. www.skyscanner.com shows a direct Marseille -Venice flight operated by Volotea
