We will arrive at CDG from San Francisco at 2PM and will have a flight from Orly the next day. Can someone suggest where we might stay overnight that is close to the Orly airport? We are looking for a location where we can find a nice dinner and have options for wandering around before dinner, as opposed to staying right at the Orly airport. But we don't want to be too far away as we will have a morning flight out.

I would stay at a hotel in the Latin Quarter of Paris where a cab to Orly is 36 Euro plus reservation fee
Or would stay on the 14 metro line which goes to Orly for 13 Euro -- hotel near the Madeleine or Pyramides metro would let you access the 14 for that trip to the airport. This is also a nice area to wander.
There is no place near the airport with charm -- you want to be in Paris in a nice neighborhood for that last evening and dinner.
I agree with Janet. Orly is so close and so easy to get to, and there is nothing right there. You will be much better off staying in Paris itself, somewhere on the Left Bank.
Agree with the others, there is nothing near ORY. Stay anywhere near one of the métro 14 stations which has high speed access to ORY.
