We will be arriving in Paris August 31, 2025, and only have a few days before we head to Burgundy. Seeking recommendations for a good, relatively quiet hotel or BNB.
How many is we? What is your budget per night? How many is a few days? What do you plan to do in Paris?
we're staying at the Apart City near Gare Lyon. Good reviews. We're skipping Paris airbnbs these days due to the heightened restrictions.
Good questions, I guess I should have been more clear. It will probably be three nights. It's just my wife and me. We are both in our 60s, so not looking for a hopping nightlife scene. Probably want to keep it under $120 per night.
Thanks
We want to go to the Louvre and Notre Dame, and take a trip to Versailles. We do not speak French.
We had a really good experience at the Courtyard at Gare de Lyon. I know it's not a french hotel, but the view was spectacular, the rooms are spacious, service was great, and the train station was literally out the front door and down the stairs. We found nice restaurants in the neighborhood and a really good breakfast place across the street. Very convenient for a couple of days stay.
For that budget, the best arrondissements are probably out of the picture (6, 5, 1-4. I would say look for something in the 14th.
