Where to Stay in Colmar (We will be arriving by train)

We were very pleased with Hotel St. Martin. Very centrally located overlooking a square just filled with flowers and several restaurants. It's a bit of a way from the train station so you'll probable want to get a cab to the hotel. But while the distance may be farther than you want to walk, I don't think it's so far that the fare will be that much -- could be wrong. Perhaps someone who has take a taxi from the station to that hotel can give you an idea of the cost.

Another vote for Hotel St. Martin. It is centrally located so that you can get to all the sights on foot. The hotel is also quite charming.

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of the tanners district and loved it. Beautiful apartment and fantastic location. It was called Le Rouge. The owner, Stephane, was very easy too work with.
