Any recommendations for a nice place to stay in Cannes. Will be there for 3 nights mid June. Mid price range with a pool preferred. I am fussy about hotels so would appreciate feedback from other fusspots!

I haven't stayed in Cannes so have no advice to offer. Others are more likely to be able to give you suitable advice if you define "mid price range" in terms of euros per night. Also, are you looking for a room for two people?

Cannes is known for its trade shows so you might do a Google search to see if any events are planned during your time. The biggest show is the famous film festival, which takes over the town and is decidedly unfriendly to the casual tourist -- but it's in May.
