We are going to Corsica this summer for 10 days -- we're spending 6 in the L'Ile Rousse area/exploring the northwest of the island, but we have 4 nights to spend elsewhere. Where should we go?? We have never been. Thanks so much for suggestions. We will have a car. We're open to basing all 4 nights from one place, or perhaps moving around.
Ajaccio:
Start your Corsican adventure in Ajaccio, the island's capital, and the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Explore the historic Old Town with its narrow streets lined with colorful buildings, visit the Maison Bonaparte (Napoleon's childhood home), and stroll along the waterfront promenade.
Don't miss the impressive Ajaccio Cathedral and the Fesch Museum, which houses a remarkable collection of Italian paintings.
Relax on the nearby beaches of Plage Saint-François and Plage d'Ajaccio, where you can soak up the sun and enjoy water sports like snorkeling and windsurfing.
Thanks for this idea! We'd love more if others have suggestions.
I haven’t been to Corsica and I don’t know whether the first response you got gives good advice, but I’d bet any money that it was written by an AI chat bot.
Slate,
D'accord!
