Six of us will be traveling from Paris to a small town in Provence. Would like to take the Metro to the outskirts of Paris before picking up rental car. Any suggestions?
Europcar has an office at Porte d’Orléans, with easy acces to the A6, the highway to Lyon and ofcourse Provence. There is a nearby metro station of line 4 also named Porte d’Orléans.
I think it’s a convenient place for picking up the car, but ask there first as I’m not 100% sure.
It is a convenient office, located in the lobby of a hotel on the outer side of the peripherique (freeway ring road). It's a pocket-sized outlet for the larger Montparnass office of EuropeCar. We rented there through AutoEurope, which would be the only way you could guarantee they have a car the size you need waiting for you. You pay up front for AutoEurope (but can be reimbursed if your plans change).
