For our last night in France, my husband and I are staying at the Sheraton airport hotel. Any suggestions of where to eat near there?
If you want to treat yourselves to a very nice meal (with menus still well below €100) and are willing to take a taxi or Uber, I recommend the Auberge des Saints-Pères in Aulnay-Sous-Bois, a 20-25 minute ride away. Some parts of Aulnay-Sous-Bois are rough, but definitely not the part where the restaurant is located.
If not, the Sheraton's restaurant is probably your best bet, because to go anywhere else you'd need to take the CDGVAL shuttle train to go to another hotel's restaurant and it's likely to be worse anyway.
There is no restaurant at/near CDG I would recommend. If you do decide to dine at CDG, it would be best to manage expectations.
We were "stuck" at CDG one night due to a missed flight some years ago - Air France bought us hotel rooms. Took the RER into Paris, had dinner and strolled around Notre Dame. Late train back to CDG - way better than the Sheraton!
Whatever you do, don't eat at the Sheraton. The food is horrible.
The very worst meal we have had in France was at the CDG Hilton many years ago. I expected it to be expensive which it was, but it was also truly terrible and the service was really rude. If you are moving from Paris to the airport, make the move after dinner. If you are coming from elsewhere to the airport, consider taking the train into Paris for dinner and a final stroll.
Or just eat at the Sheraton and order whatever is most likely to be adequate.
