Where should mother & daughter meet when arriving CDG separately?

We are both frequent international travelers, but neither of us know CDG well. In several weeks I will be arriving CDG on American Airlines from PHL at 11:55 am. The internet says I will likely be arriving in Terminal 2A. Daughter will be arriving CDG on Icelandic Airlines at 13:05 from KEF and internet says she will likely be arriving in Terminal 2B. Of course I wonder if I could just go directly upon arrival to her gate in 2B, but am guessing that I'll likely be shunted directly to immigration upon arrival and thus could not change terminals in order to meet her at her gate. Or would this be possible? I would deeply appreciate any suggestions about where we might be able to rendezvous once she arrives, so that we can share a taxi and arrive at our AirB&B together. Thank you!

Since your flight arrives 1h10 before your daughter's, you just have to go to terminal 2B, it only takes a few minutes on foot from 2A and wait for her at the 2B meeting point just after the baggage reclaim area.
Before departure agree together that you will meet at this meeting point (in case your flight is delayed by more than an hour for example and you cannot communicate with your daughter)

You will have to go thru immigration and your daughter will not, so chances are that you will reach the public area of the terminal at roughly the same time anyway! It will be easy for you to head to 2B and wait at whatever café in the public area...or maybe your daughter will wait.

Terminal 2B connects to Terminal 2D, and right next to 2B, just beyond gates B21 and B22, is a world-famous restaurant that would certainly be easy for the two of you to find.

Sammy's solution about the famous "restaurant" is probably very practical but do you know that spending your first moments in France in this place could bring you bad luck for the duration of your stay and curses for the next 3 generations ?
