Where does the shuttle and/or the Petit Train drop off passengers in Giverny?

I have what I think is the latest R.Steves France guidebook, and on page 197, it claims that the shuttle drops off passengers near the timed ticket entrance to Monet's Giverny gardens. Looking at the website for the shuttle bus, it clearly states that the Giverny stop is at the town parking lot (6-10 min walk away). The Petit Train website is a bit vague, but it looks like the same stop is used.

Which is it? town parking lot or timed ticket entrance?

The shuttle bus drops you off at a parking lot just south of a road called Chemin du Roy. You cross the Chemin du Roy, walk northwards through a small parking lot to the Rue Claude Monet, turn right on that street, and walk another short distance to the Monet house and Gardens. I don’t know what the small train does.

both train and bus drop you at the parking lot a fair way from the Monet site. It is a several block walk -- follow the crowd.

Btw, the petite train/tram is more expensive than the bus, claims to drop you off close to Monet's Garden but really doesn't. When you get to the train station wait for the bus. Once, we mistakenly took the petite train thinking that was the "bus" because no buses were there. If only we'd waited. The petite train is the "scenic" transport, so it takes longer than the bus and we were already late for our timed entry. No worries though since the lines were so backed up at Monet's Garden even with tickets that no one was late because everyone was.
