I'm trying to book an inexpensive ticket from Strassbourg, FR to Basel, Switzerland for travel in early September, but there are none to buy. When will these tickets become available for sale? (I want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong, in case they ARE available now.)

Also there are direct regional train (TER) so the prices are fixed at 25 euros in 2nd class or 37 euros in 1st.

Thank you. And to clarify: the price won't be any lower than 25 Euro, regardless of when I purchase the ticket?

Not necessarily, they occasionally have sales when the fare goes down to €19. If you sign up for notifications you will get emails when they have sales.
