What US car is similar in size to a Peugeot 2008?

We have been arranging our own trips to Europe since 1996 using Rick Steve's guidebooks and have had some amazing trips.
This fall we plan to visit the French Alps, then the Burgundy & Alsace regions. To see what we want to see I have rented a car from AVIS, which is either a Peugeot 2008 or another car of similar size. The trouble is, I don't believe this car is imported into the US so I am not clear on what size car this is.

Does anyone have knowledge of what US car is similar in size to a Peugeot 2008?

Last time in Germany we rented a VW Polo which was the prefect size.

The 2008 looks to be bit smaller than the Hyundai Kona

Length- 163" v 171"

Wheelbase- 99" v 104"

Width- 68" v 72"

The Kia Soul is a bit bigger than the 2008 as well.

A quick search came up with, Ford Puma, Renault Captur, Nissan Juke, and the Volkswagen T-Roc, Mazda CX-30, Kia Stonic, Hyundai Kona. We were given a Kia Stonic in Spain last year and it was close in size to a Ford Escape.

On a couple other trips we were given a Hyundai Tucson.

I use carsized.com to get a sense of relative exterior sizes. It allows you to compare overlayed or side by side views of two cars at a time. It also provides data on height, width, and length differences between the selected two cars. The Peugeot 2008 is in the library of available cars.

The Peugeot 2008 is a small compact SUV, slightly larger than the WV Polo. It's one of the best-selling cars in Europe.

It's perfect for traveling in the Alps and on the roads of France.

Thanks everyone for their response. I was not aware of the carsized.com website, as a car guy I found this website very interesting, I mean where else can you get the dimensions for a Wartburg or a Wolseley or a DKW (but no Reliant Robin)!
With the help of carsized I determined that a Mazda CX-3 is very, very close in size to the Peugeot.
Hopefully AVIS will have the Peugeot 2008 they indicated, sounds like like a great choice for this trip.
