We leave Paris on Saturday, Sept 26th and will miss the Popemobile. But looks like we need to change our plans for Friday the 25th - the Pope will be giving an evening service at Notre-Dame. We will be staying near Rue Cler. Suggestions welcome for activities that day that will not depend too much on public transit.
It'll be clearer closer to the day, but I would not expect any impact in the likes of Montmartre or the Eiffel Tower area, both quite far from Notre Dame. What were your original plans for the day?
Thank you @balso. Our original plan was to be in Marais to wander the neighborhood and see the Jewish Art History Museum and Picasso Museum. Figuring that cross - town transportation will be affected on that day.
