Has it finally reopened? Their website seems inconclusive.
It's not expected to reopen before the end of the year.
It's been closed for a couple of years. We walked by earlier this year and expected it to be further along, but it looked as if parts of it still were torn down to its walls, similar to how we've seen other buildings in Paris and Lyon renovated almost entirely except for the facade. I would be surprised if it re-opened yet this year. But you never know...
Meanwhile, some of its holdings are traveling around. Some are in Portland, Oregon right now.
It closed a few days before my first visit to Paris in October 2016. The Musée de Cluny is open during their renovations.
thanks, all. Maybe they're going for the Sagrada Familia record.
