An important question is: how are you getting to Aix, by car or rail?

We stayed in an apartment, Aix Mirabeau. It, and another one in Aix are owned by an American, Holly Poirier. Go to provencesejour.com to see them. The contact info includes a US phone number.
We stayed there 8 nights in June, 2012 and loved the place (even though it was on the top floor with lots of stairs). It truly is central and Holly is great.
