Amazing race went to this castle or fortress in two different seasons but I just can’t find out which one it was. It was a steep uphill walk through the town to get there. While they were there guys in old traditional armor were fighting and shooting of catapults.

I believe they went to Les Beaux-de-Provence twice. les beaux de Provence

Yeah - Les Baux - we've been twice and it's pretty cool.
And it's a trebuchet...we saw it on the second visit there - fun to watch.
