Will be there in 3 weeks. Elevator tickets sold out. Don't want to do the Behind The Scenes or Fat Tire tours. Therefore, wondering how many stories it is to walk to the second level? Thanks!

Not sure about how many actual stories, but can tell you that it was very doable, and given the scenery along the way, you have natural "stops" to take it all in, so it went rather smoothly for us. Being in shape helps, but maybe training your thighs for the steps a couple of weeks prior to the trip would be a good idea. Just walk up steps whenever you get a chance to get a feel for it. We went on a pretty cool and sunny day, so take that into account if your day might be a hot one. I actually liked the vantage point from the Arc de Triumph a little better, so do that as well for another view that is a bit easier.
