Visiting Versailles

Got to Paris yesterday, March 22, we want to visit Versailles soon, but... We are concerned about the protests, strikes on the transportation system and King Charles' possible visit there.

Should we take a chance & go tomorrow or Saturday? Or wait & see what happens in the few days?

We are also concerned about getting home to the USA next week.

Thanks in advance, Debbie

There are reports that Versailles was closed today, but all updates are on their website.

No new strikes are currently proposed - cestlagreve.fr - but check there. You should buy Versailles tix in advance, check to see what's available.

Why would you be concerned about coming back home next week? Flights were still flying today.

CDG was blocked today by protesters per The UK Telegraph & The Evening Standard, etc...

There was a picket blocking the access road to Terminal 1 for a while. I believe access via Terminal 3 and the CDGVal shuttle was still possible.
Regarding Versailles, tomorrow, roughly 50% of C trains and N trains and 60-70% of L trains to Versailles will run. This is the times for the L line trais to Versailles Rive-Droite tomorrow, for example.
So yes, you can go, tomorrow is not a big strike day (no protest) and the Chateau should be open. It has been open on every "non-protest" day as far as I know.
