First time I am visiting Europe. Need a help to plan the visit in Paris. Need suggestion.
Here is a good place to start.
Have the first day for an easy and straightforward walk from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Bastille. Nearly all famous landmarks are on or close to the route: Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde, Louvre, Notre Dame and the Marais, to name the most obvious ones. Look at: www.viamichelin.com/web/Maps?address=75000%20Paris
The rest depends on your interests.
This listing is a good start.

However it does overlook a few sights in the Marais district - Pompidou Centre, Place des Vosges, Picasso Museum.
As well as Invalides, Rodin Museum, Cluny Museum, Pantheon, Quai Branly Museum.
Hi,
What about a side trip to the Normandy D-Day invasion beaches?
Take the train to Carentan at Paris St Lazare at 07.10am, arriving at Carentan approx. 09.35am.
You can take the 06.10pm train back from Carentan to Paris.
Regards,
Rene
Thanks a lot Rene. Thats really a great idea. I will definitely visit Normandy. Regards.
I am not being snarky when I say reading Rick Steves Paris guide will be super helpful for an enjoyful visit. There is so much good info in his guide, way more than anyone here can give you.

Ditto Susan - get the RS guide and enjoy!
