Visiting Old bones

My mothers grandparents came from the small villages of Vahl Ebersing and Fremestroff some 70 miles outside of Strasbourg. I am going to be in Strausburg for two days and would like to visit this area. Not sure if any walking relatives are in the area but would still like to see it. Does anyone know if there are any accommodation or resturants in that area.

Both of those villages are very close to St Avold which has an exit from the Autoroute between Paris and Strasbourg.

There several chain hotels and motels, and associated restaurants easy to find.

Good luck with your research. You are driving, I hope?

Thanks I think we will go to Avold then down to the villages.
