my 14 year old loves the Louvre so much that he wants to go back again by himself. Does any know if thats allowed by the museum?

Yes and he should remember to ask for the student rate everywhere if the ticket seller doesn't offer it up front based just on his appearance.

There is no 'student rate' -- entry is free to most museums.
