I am about to order online tickets for this May to visit the Eiffel Tower. I just read that 60 days out the tickets are for the elevator access to the top, and 14 days out is for stairs access to the 2nd floor. Does anyone know at this point (60 days out), can I purchase a combo ticket of stairs to 2nd floor and elevator to the top?
the largest group of tickets are released 7 days out at 1 pm Paris time. So if you don't get them at 60 days out try again then. Often at 60 days there are fewer for the top and those available require purchase of an expensive plastic glass of champagne.
Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought that if you were able to buy the tickets to the top, that included the access to the 2nd level. No separate tickets necessary. Only need to buy 2nd level tickets separately if that is the highest you are going.
Thank you! We are all set for our visit.
Note that I got up at 3:10 AM last week to purchase tix promptly at 8:30 AM Paris time and at 3:20 several time slots were sold out. Apparently they released tickets earlier than posted.
