We are taking a cruise this summer that docks in Villefranche, and would love to see Eze. What is the best way to get there from this port? We will be a family of five (kids 9, 11, and 14). Thanks!

There's regular train and bus service. Note that Villefranche sur Mer is usually a tender port, so allow extra time to get to and from shore.

There is a bus that goes directly to the upper village, #82. But that departs from a stop above the port, so some climbing is involved. It can also be very, very crowded. You can take a train to Eze sur Mer and connect via a bus (83, can be very crowded) or walk up the very steep and high trail. You can also just take a taxi or Uber from Villefranche-sur-mer.
