Someone noted as an aside in a recent post that one of the RS France tours used to be called Village France, similar to the universally loved Village Italy tour. Does anyone remember which France tour this is? We're planning way ahead for our 2016 RS tour, and France is high on our list. Thanks.

It is the Eastern France tour. It used to be Villages and Vineyards of Eastern France. I did this tour in 2009 and my husband and I are taking it together next month. It's a great tour and you will love it. They did switch Marseille out for what used to be the Villefranche sur mer. You could always stay a few days after the tour on your own in Villefranche.

The tour used to be called "Villages and Vineyards of Eastern France" but was changed slightly and is now called "Best of Eastern France". You can find details about the tour here: www.ricksteves.com/tours/france/eastern-france

Thank you. This one is the trip I'm voting for, but DH is leaning toward Paris and Heart of France. It'd be cool to do both...
