Villa Lara in Bayeux

You certainly can't get any more in the center of charming Bayeux than the Villa Lara. It looked like such a nice hotel when we stayed in Bayeux, but we didn't stay there, so can't offer more than that.

Thank you KD. Yes, the location looks great and the pictures are nice. It is highly rated.
I have seen elsewhere than their website that they have a lift (elevator). We are willing to pay more if it is as good as it seems.

We just stayed at the Hotel Tardiff. It was two blocks from Villa Lara (5 min walk or so).

We truly enjoyed it and found the staff so lovely. The grounds were a delight. Rooms lovely. Ambience of the hotel in general exceeded expectations. Breakfast yummy.

Bayeux is very compact, so staying anywhere in the center of town (Hotel Mathilde, Villa Lara, Hôtel Tardiff, etc.) will be just fine for locale.
