Vetting out the Paris Apartment Options

Hello I am looking for a "spacious" place for me and my husband in either Le Marais or St. Germain areas for a week in the end of February where my friend from Germany and maybe her daughter can visit us for a night.
The Citadines lack soul. I see people here have used Vacationinparis with good luck. I also see other apartments options in RS Paris book. I'm a little paranoid of scams and I am seeing the same apartment on different booking platforms, is that normal for a room to be listed on different sites or is it a red flag? I also see Marriott Bonvoy Villas and Homes has vacation rentals, has anyone used that platform? And finally, the Lebeau Marais looks adorable, are they legit? I'm hoping to spend around $275 or so per night, which means I may just get a separate hotel room for my friend. Thank you for any wisdom or apartment/hotel suggestions you may have.

It's common for the same apartment to be listed on various booking sites.

If your friends are only staying 1 night, I would recommend a hotel nearby to your lodging. An advantage is they would have their own bedroom and bathroom. It may be difficult to find a legitimate apartment that is roomy enough for all of you on your budget.

If you do book an apartment, be sure you understand your host's policy on guests.

Thank you all for your responses. $275 is low for Paris I see, even in the dead of winter.

I think you could find something for under $275 from LeBeau Marais in February but it would accommodate only 2 people. It's the space that will allow two additional people that is pushing it over your budget which is another reason why the suggestion that you should get a hotel for your friend is a good idea. It will probably be cheaper to pay for a room for two for one night rather than pay for a space that will accommodate four for a week just so you can have the space for one night of that week.

Thanks JHK, I do agree, that that makes more sense.

I do not recommend Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy. Check their reviews. My reservation was cancelled the day before I was to arrive from overseas. Apparently a common practice from Marriott. I trusted the name Marriott and did not check reviews. I was left scrambling to find a place to stay at the last minute. My holidays ruined. Personally, I will not patronize Marriott again. Best wishes and happy travels.

Rob0copp, thank you. Im sorry you had that experience-it sounds atrocious!
I ended up renting a very cute apartment through Paris Perfect, so if that goes awry I will report back.
